Medical Campus Map. On this old map, our new building (BSRB = Biomedical Sciences Research Building) is in the empty space in the block bounded by Zina Pitcher, Huron and Ann (lower left of map).
Getting to campus:
Ann Arbor is ringed by I-94 to the south and west, US-23 to the east, and M-14 to the north and west. Any of these highways can be taken to Ann Arbor depending on your starting point. Once at Ann Arbor, the medical campus is close to the center of town, a bit to the northwest.
From the west take Jackson/Huron eastward (Jackson changes names to Huron in town, it is the same road).
From the north take Main soutward until Huron. Turn left onto Huron.
From the south take Main or State northward until Huron. Turn right onto Huron.
From the east take Washtenaw westward. Washtenaw will turn northward and then again westward right at campus. Washtenaw changes names to Huron at this point.
In all cases you will end up on Huron immediately south of the medical campus. Turn northward onto Glen or Zina Pitcher Place. Find a place to park (best to arrange this in advance).
Once on campus:
There are entries into the BSRB from most of the facing streets (the building fills the entire block). Go in any door and make your way to one of the few sets of elevators. Go to the 2nd floor (yes, you have to take the elevators to the 2nd floor...). Tom's office is in the ribbon strip of offices facing Huron street, Rm. 2065. The lab is in the wing facing onto Huron and Glen streets. Please note that although the lab room is 2828, you enter our lab through the door numbered 2830!
